Can't wait for the next Cowbelly workshop? Have simpler needs in terms of advice? Want help in just a few areas of your business? Then private consultations may be perfect for you.
There are 2 different options to choose from:
PRIVATE PHONE CONSULTATIONS:
$250 for 90-minute consult.
(consults must be completed within 7 days of making payment)
Spend 90-minutes on the phone with Jamie, getting advice and information tailored to your specific situation. Ask her questions relating to marketing + pricing, or photography + post-processing techniques, get advice on your portfolio + photography style and areas you can improve on, or find out how to deal with tough clients + establish relationships with networking partners.
Please note that because of the limited time of 90 minute consultations, only one or two topics may be covered, such as: marketing, or pricing, or photography, etc. If you need more intensive information, a full-day consultation or workshop will be best.
Jamie has you complete a questionnaire about your business prior to your consult so she can get to know you better before your chat.
Payments for phone consults must be made a minimum of 7 days in advance of the consult. A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to hold the date on Jamie's calendar. Payment is requested through paypal, and we will send you an invoice that can be easily paid online once your date is confirmed
Please note: legal advice and/or advice on specific commercial photography assignments are not available for phone consultations. Forms, contracts and workbooks are not available for phone consults.
PRIVATE IN-PERSON CONSULTATIONS
Half-day (4 hours): $500.
Full Day (8 hours): $850.
Private in-person consultations are done in Seattle only. Half days are 4-hour sessions, and full days are 8-hour sessions with lunch included. In-person consultations are tailored to the individual, and can include things like a private client shoot, post-processing session, demonstration of workflow, chat about marketing, visit to marketing partners, in-depth breakdown of pricing strategies, whatever the individual would like to know that can be reasonably accommodated during the alloted time.
Please note that half-day consults that include a private client shoot leave approximately 2.5 hours leftover to cover all other areas of information requested. A half-day consult is ideal for a private client shoot plus 2-3 other topics of information. Half-day consults are designed for those who are already established and just need a little bit of extra help, or those who are mainly concerned about a couple of areas in their businesses.
A full-day consult is ideal for those who need detailed and/or more extensive information on starting a business. These are more similar to a mini-workshop and are designed for those who are just starting out.
Jamie has you complete a questionnaire about your business prior to your consult so she can get to know you better before your chat. You can specify in the questionnaire what you feel like you need the most help with, and areas you'd like to focus on during your consult.
It is very helpful for you to have a portfolio and/or website online before an in-person consult, and it is also suggested you bring any marketing or promotional materials with you, along with your camera gear.
In-person consultations can be scheduled on either a weekday or weekend day as Jamie's schedule allows. In-person consultations may not be rescheduled due to inclement weather and a 50% non-refundable retainer is required to hold the date on Jamie's calendar.
Multiple full day consults may be purchased at the same time, with a maximum of 2 consecutive days.
Full-day consultations include access to Jamie's forms and resource CD; half-day consultations include access to Jamie's beneficial web links file only.
PRIVATE IN-PERSON FULL DAY CONSULTATIONS IN YOUR CITY
Full Day consultations *may* be available to you at your place of business and/or home, depending on Jamie's schedule and prior commitments, and provided all travel fees are paid by the purchaser. Custom travel quotes can be provided upon request. Give Jamie a call to discuss your specific needs.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
PHONE AND IN-PERSON CONSULTATIONS ARE NOT OPEN TO THOSE WHO LIVE AND/OR WORK WITHIN A 60-MILE RADIUS OF SEATTLE, WASHINGTON. THOSE WHO LIVE IN WASHINGTON STATE WILL NEED TO PROVE RESIDENCY.
