TESTIMONIALS:

"It was the most fun thing I did all year! I loved all of the people and all of the attention!"- Fergie

"Attending Jamie's workshop helped move me in the right direction towards what I have always wanted to do but wasn't sure how to go about making it happen.  I have always been happy being a portrait photographer, but have longed to be a pet photographer as well because dogs are my true passion.  The network of colleagues I have made through this experience has been invaluable.   I have a stronger foundation to take my pet photography to the next level. Thank you!" -Pam Biasotti

"Jamie's workshop totally enabled me to get out there and show the world who I am. I may be doing something totally outside the box but I love it and I am successful at it. Since Jamie's workshop in September 2008 I quit my lame corporate office job and began my photography business. I shoot both pet photography and weddings and have different sites for each. I have my hand in alot of pots right now but as long as it involves pets I'm super happy. I'm so glad I went to the Cowbelly workshop, I don't think I would be doing what I love right now if I hadn't taken the chance back then." -Stephanie Smith

"I have learned so much at the Workshop. I'm so thankful to Jamie for all of her comments and suggestions. I feel much stronger than I did before I left for Seattle, I got the focus that I need." - Angie Wojciechowska

"I thank Jamie for putting herself and her work out there for all of us to learn from in her Seattle 9/08 workshop. She has worked so incredibly hard, developed a beautiful business that clearly energizes her. It would be easy to keep that to herself and prosper. By sharing with others I hope she realizes it will only come back to her tenfold." -Bev Hollis

"Can't thank Jamie enough. The course was as wonderful and exciting as I had hoped, thanks for such an opportunity!" -Maria Carey

"I have thought so much about the courage and resourcefulness and dedication it has taken for Jamie to develop and offer this workshop. I am so inspired by her devotion to helping others, particularly women, be successful in this unique and fun field we have chosen. She is an amazing woman and I feel so fortunate that I was able to attend her very first workshop. I learned so much from her and the other women - I don't think all of it has really sunk in yet. I'm still processing." -Jeanne Harris

"More accolades for the workshop!! I learned so much and now my brain is flying in all directions trying to figure out everything I need to do to be ready. I hate being stuck at work when I want to be at home getting my website and blog all purtied up! Jamie did a fabulous job and gave us all something we will thank her for forever" -Tracy Auckerman

"I can't thank Jamie enough! The wheels are still turning trying to put together all the useful info I got from the workshop. She is a truly selfless woman to share all of her tips and tricks to becoming successful!I haven't stopped talking about the workshop to all my friends and family back here. I think they're getting sick of me!" -Keriann Kwalik

"Thank you so much for the rockin weekend! Jamie you are amazing in everything that you do!" -Jaime Rowe

"Hi Jamie, I just wanted to tell you again how perfectly your Austin workshop not only met but exceeded my expectations! You were (are) incredibly generous with us--I can't believe all the wonderful information, forms, sources, etc. you shared. The information is exactly what I needed, and if I can't get a business off the ground with what you provided it will be totally a lack on my part. Thanks also for picking such a great spot for the workshop--the Hyatt was cool--and for the good food. The other participants were totally cool, and although I know I didn't have a lot to say, I took it all in and enjoyed everything. All in all, your workshop was a completely wonderful experience, worth every minute of my time, and really a huge bargain.Looking forward to the forum. Thanks again!" -Debra Waters

"I want to start by saying thanks so much for everything you do!  I don't know if you realize what a profound impact you have had on my life and I'm sure many others.  I'm getting teary eyed just writing this but attending the Boston workshop, discovering how many pet photographers are out there, getting the chance to meet everyone, having the forums, all your wisdom and resources gave me the confidence I needed to turn my dream into a reality and the steps to take to get there.  For my hiking clients holiday gifts this year I included a photo of their dog and announced the official launch of Penzi Pet Photography.  I had so much positive feedback and immediately got requests for prints and bookings for shoots.  I have store displays going up and was even found by Boston Magazine and included (with some other photographers from the workshop!) as part of their recent pet issue.  It's all been going so fast I hardly have time to keep up.  I even just hired my first employee to help me walk the dogs so I can have more time for the photography business.  Basically it is all working out better than I could have imagined.  I am loving every bit of it and feel nothing but optimism and excitement for the future and really truly don't know that I could have done it without you. So thank you, thank you, thank you!" - Kelly Allen

"My decision to attend the Cowbelly Pet Photography workshop was the best decision I could have made for my recently born business.  Jamie is an infinite resource in both the creative and business sides of pet photography and being able to ask questions of someone whose been in business for quite some time now was more beneficial than I hoped it would be.  A photographer willing to share their expertise and tricks of the trade is refreshing and I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that.  The workshop also presented the opportunity to meet other photographers in nearby cities in a friendly, non-competitive environment and I feel like I have made many new friends because of this.  I have so many new resources and ideas as well as a forum for keeping in touch and receiving feedback.  If you’re someone wondering if the workshop is worth it, I can tell you from experience, it is.  You will not regret your decision to learn from one of the best in the business" -Maria Andrews

"The Cowbelly Workshop is a MUST for pet photographers interested in starting a business, or making their existing business more successful. Jamie'sknowledge and expertise in the field of pet photography along with her warm spirit and willingness to help others make her the ideal workshopinstructor. You will leave Jamie's workshop invigorated!!" -Debbie Virgin Shook

"Jamie's workshop was such a great investment.  I left the class with so many emotions, over-whelmed, a bit scared but also so excited and eager.  Jamie has put so much time into her business and is so generous for sharing her knowledge with those of us that admire her work and want to be successful like her.  Thanks Jamie!" -Lesley Bonin

"The workshop was the perfect tool for me.  I have been in business for just over a year as a full time pet photographer, but I knew there was something missing.  I had what I call a 'fog' in my head ~ just couldn't get the fog to lift.  I couldn't figure out the missing pieces.  Jamie's workshop not only lifted the fog but gave me so much information that I didn't even know I needed!!  I had no idea my website needed so much work...I had no idea about a lot of things that I need to modify or implement.  I would take the workshop again in a heartbeat and will HIGHLY recommend it to anyone out there whose pet photography business needs a kick-start." - Nicole Glazier

"Jamie's workshop will definitely save any budding pet photographer priceless amounts of time, money and angst… but it also will help any photographer starting up any new photo business.  Jamie’s experience, knowledge and energy is amazing – but how freely she shares herself and her invaluable lessons learned is what was truly incredible about this workshop.  Thank you, Jamie, for helping the rest of us get started!!" -Sandi Wheaten

“I’ve worked for a handful of large corporations within the past 20+ years, and this was the BEST workshop I’ve ever attended. Jamie will teach you, step-by-step, how to plan, start and grow a successful pet photography business. She will help you avoid many pitfalls and costly mistakes. Jamie knows the pet photography industry inside and out. If you want to launch a pet photography business, attend Jaime’s workshop first, and learn the right way to do it!” -Rick Schemmel

I'm excited to get home and build my business and I hope I can someday be as successful as Jamie.” -Sandro Avila

For someone who is pursuing pet photography as a hobby, and looking for tips and tricks, this is not the workshop for you, in my opinion, but for the photographer looking to seriously get a photography business going, this is the exact workshop for you. Between the lady herself, Jamie, her workbook and the resource cd, I can tell that she truly cares about helping others succeed. I was looking for help on the business aspect of starting/running a pet photography business, and I now feel more prepared and confident to go forward. Thank you Thank you Thank you Jamie!!” -Candace Porter

And perhaps this post-workshop experience says it best:

Evaluation form question:

"How did you feel upon leaving the workshop? Excited? Sad? Overwhelmed? Tired? Hopeful? 'OhmygodIcan'twaittogetstarted!!'? All of the above?"

"All of the above for sure. I didn't want to leave. I was emotional. When I was talking to my husband on the phone in the cab on my way home, I was having a difficult time holding the tears back. I just couldn't believe how much I had learned and how much you shared with us. Not to mention I LOVE Chicago. The cab driver must have thought I was crazy. I'm still all of the above. Monday I spent moping and being really depressed and then Tuesday and Wednesday I had to edit a session I had done before I left so today is the first day where I have had time to sit and go back over my notes.  I plan printing really important notes and posting them on my wall in front of my desk so I can look at it every day along with pics from the shoot on Sunday.  A constant reminder to keep the fire going and not to give up or get down."
